Mongoose POwerchips EEC ECU Upgrade

Found this on ebay the other day - It is from 2001 and sold by Halfords / Ripspeed. Never Used apparently and for a DIVE ECU which is what is in my Puma.
Anybody got experience of these? It is supposed to fit onto the ECU itself. I checked and there is an opening with a black blanking plate over it that looks like the Unit should slide into and attachto the edge of the PCB / connectors.

The seller didn't know much about it - he had bought it for his brand new 1.7 Puma in 2001 but never fitted it.

Has anybody fitted / seen one of these? Any tips / advice or warnings about connecting this in? I have a Ramair induction kit and a st steel exhaust so hoping it might give me a couple extra horses. I'd be really interested in hearing anybody else's experience though

If you've modified the car exhaust and inlet I'd have thought a custom remapp would be the way forward now.

I did look into that but without cams, manifold and sports cat the 10hp gain was not worth the cost. Just bought this to try it as it was a fraction of cost of custom remap. Just wodered if anybody had tried this or if there were any dangers in fitting it. Figured it was mongoose made it for this ecu in2001so might be a fore runner to custom remap??
