Ok, found this picture on the net... It shows the tabs in place, so I take it that only the 90 degree pipe pulls out... The collars with tabs stay in the pump? Cheers

Hi Yog, yes, tried fingers and pointed nose pliers. The outer part with the tabs pops up with a click but doesn't want to come out. Should the full connection come out or is just the outside part with the tabs and 90 deg pipe? Cheers

I'm on with swapping my fuel tank and pump, I have a complete tank to replace my knackered one but need some advice regarding the red and white pipe/tank connections located in the top of the pump... how do you get the buggers out? I can get them to pop up 2 or 3mm and reveals what looks like...
