Have you tried the relay I had a similar fault but with my abs , tried and checked everything, turned out to be a dodgy relay.

Yeah IV got the one like Errol's but with cup holders

Thanks Wild E I checked both project threads, my console is different, a lot flatter and rounder where the cup holders are. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and just go for it :? I'll take lots of pics and post if it works, if not I'll be looking for a new floor carpet 8-)

I am thinking of trying to fit a mk1 focus centre concsole ( one with cup holders) I know I have to replace the handbrake, but was wondering is it a straight fit or do you have to cut the floor carpet? Anyone got a how to or pic of the cut carpet. Many thanks Ian b

Just finished reading your thread Better than most tv series can't wait for the next installment :grin: Did you manage to remove your seized brake piston ? Have you tried using a grease gun, just screw into bleed nipple and gently squeeze, piston will pop right out.

Thanks for all your input, as the car spends most of its time on the drive or on the motorway I am gonna stare the standard wheels and take a chance with the et25s. Will let you guys know how it goes.
