Supposedly I might have the original test kit fitted to mine from 2003, however I believe it is more likely a cross between the original manufacturer and a Pumaspeed first run.
The panels make a rally kit and therefore not going to have mm perfect fitment, however a good body works shop should...
Ben and I are planning on attending again in the Puma, just insured it again for another year so will get the tickets and stand pass booked shortly :ok:
Thanks Cherie and Dal for organising everything again. Good to see a decent number of us there again this year.
Thanks to all those who voted for the car, makes all the efforts and money spent worth while when it gets noticed. It’s probably the most ‘together’ the car has been since I’ve owned...
All the following bits free to someone that wants them, need the space now that we have Ben’s car back from the fabricators. Would be great if someone took the lot and used them rather than us binning it all!
Millennium recaro rear seat bench - in reasonable condition, no rips or tears would...
Despite the queuing both Ben and I left having had a good day, I'm not quite sure where the time went as it was 6pm in no time and didn't get to spend too much time on the stand!
For those that noticed sorry for being 'one of those drivers' that jumped into the outside lane in the morning to...
Yeap done that. For some reason I don't have it, been on the phone to Kelsey media already and they should be resending. I do have the confirmation email from booking them so that's a start
Thanks for the reply Sinisa. I pulled my drivers door card off to have a look at the 'analogue' wiring and it seems pretty much the same. The connectors are the same and as far as I can tell the wiring colours are the same. Just seems some of the alarm wires are a different thickness.
So I'm...
Does anyone know if there are any differences between the digital and analogue door wiring harnesses?
As in are the electric door mirrors and central locking units wired the same on the early cars as on the later cars?
I'm taking a digital harness out of the doors and wondering if they will...
There are many aftermarket ecu's that will run vct, it will come down to your budget. My advice would be to get the best you can afford and like mentioned before something that can be mapped local to you (unless you're happy travelling).
I use Omex 600 on mine, but mainly because I had it...
Well you've both just thrown a spanner in the works!
The argument I have for this is that it's 'meant' to be on the car if you go with how Ford intended it.
It's easy to take on and off at least.. could even take the spanners to ford fair and take it off there if everyone hates it !!
Yeah I think that's a fair comment. It has definitely grown on me and in my eyes it's meant to be there, it's why I got it so I'll get it fitted.
If I turn up at ford fair and everyone questions what I've done then I may rethink!
