Unique to the Puma...and never seen from the factory on an Escort back in the day like the later multi spokes.Just a pity you need spacers to get good brakes under them!!
Water leaks can be sooo time consuming to sort. From a mechanics point of view ,you dread getting a water leak job as stripping enough stuff out of the way to diagnose it is difficult to charge for...
Ok..So As I'm a mech by trade I'd get a bit techi and test the O2 sensor output voltage. Either via a scanner/code reader that's live data capable, or by a digital multi meter back probing the sensor multiplug and picking up the sensors output voltage.Your looking for a contantly altering...
As above.Your Puma's running rich. My old track car ran a closed loop idle control system without a cat showed 1.5% CO at idle with the Single O2 sensor switching between 0.2-0.9v...This is what your aiming for so the cat can operate.
Your cat may likely recover once you sort that.
I got a set of propellors overhauled by my local wheel reconditioner. He just sprayed the centre caps in the same OE silver.2 years later they still look like new.
No...In a word. Similar in principle but thats about it. Someone here fitted a MK6 rear roll bar to the puma but I wasn't convinced it would work with regards optimal mounting points
Puma is same as a fiesta 4(Oval face and facelift) but has different, damper rates ,stiffer front roll bar...
