:wink: tbf my mistake too as they're actually 6.5J not 7! :roll: :? offset et40 on these so only 5 or 6 out. they seem to track and trail pretty good as they are. just wondered if dropping it 25mm (compensating 10mm for bigger wheel) and widening the track 41mm overall without widening...

I've fitted 16" 7J rims with 195 / 45 tyres. These sit beautifully and track well, however... Anyone any ideas if ill encounter any problems or mess up the geometry of the rear suspension if i also drop these 35mm lowering springs and 20.5mm rear axle spacers on? 35mm is alot i know but...

Check pins as DOH suggested, a good squirt with contact cleaner never goes a miss. Failing that, before shelling out for a dia read out, a bottle of £10 Forte petrol treatment from any respectful garage accompanied with a good (20+ mile) motorway clean out has been known to tell the emissions...

I've recently changed ARBs on two pumas. First time we tried bending them, shaping them, screaming at them and eventually slackened subframe bolts just enough to squeeze them in... hour or so later. Second time, just went for it...front end on stands, subframe bolts out (15mm as i remember???)...

Sounds a similar problem I was faced with recently. When you open with key in door lock, does the central locking make noises and try to unlock but then immediately lock again? (Possibly flashing indicators and sounding horn too) If so you'll find the door lock has failed...re-con job or new one...

loose pedal itself. Had a brief look at top of pedal but cant really see any obvious way of tightening or repairing it :|

Anyone else's accelerator pedal bit loose and wobbly? Nothing extreme or dangerous. Pretty sure its always been this way, but wondered earlier if maybe it was common..?

The pwr output of a 1.4T now equates to a 2.0n/a of the same vehicle. The very reason I'm waiting for my mothers 1.4 to have an epic fail on the MOT so can get it the project garage!!! :twisted:
