Many of you will know I'm building a 4X4 Puma with V6 Cosworth Engine.
Problem is my car was originally a 1999 Digital Mileage Dash, with a 1.7 Engine.....................
Temperature Gauge took a reading from the ECU, but my new ECU will not do this, so does anyone know what's the trick to wiring it up so it will work ?
I've tried a direct Earth on the lead (pin 75 I think), but gauge didn't move, also tried wiring it through different temp senders and dropping them in hot water, still no reading on the gauge.
Fuel Gauge works fine, as does everything else in the car now, except temp gauge which DID work when the car had the 1.7 engine in it :roll:
