Nurburgring 2011 Thread :D

Videos first, my rear cam was playing up this year only managed one lap with it

My best time at 9:40, worked out we lost 25 seconds at the roadworks using RaceChrono from a previously clean run through that sector.

2nd best was a 9:55 BTG with a small off at Adenaur Forst lol, a fine example of me getting impatient and trying to force the issue on the inside at one of the tightest corners on the track

Both timed using racechrono (if anyone knows how to transfer the details or graphs to my laptop if be grateful)

yes got a couple of shots of the gp track but not very good

yes had fun but as it was my first time i was a bit cautious but will do better next time if you want to see the photos of you on the GP track i have put them on my photo album on my profile :OK:

I did one lap a couple of years ago, maybe do 4 this time lol

yes i did 4 laps but its such a big track 4 was not enough to learn the track that quick for me a bit of a slow learner :!:

this sound stupid and people may laugh, but before i first went 3 years ago, me and my mate done lap after lap on Forza 2 and it really helped to learn the lay out of the track, where to stay out wide etc etc

this may allso sound stupid but what is forza 2 :?

Forza 2 is a xbox360 game

i see i will have try to get it and practise

if you do might aswell get the latest forza 3

certainly games help people learn the track to an extent before the real thing.

EDIT:- Just watched your vids now I'm back home (Thursday 9th) as I couldn't get the connection in the hotel last week......
Not so sure about your 9.40 laptime...lol. Top marks for trying as I know how infuriating it is when your on a good lap and it goes pear shaped because of something stopping you dead in your tracks.

Might have a look at all my vids as if I did that and collated all the best sections on my laps I'd be looking at a potential sub 9 minuter.....oh, and a heart attack with all the adrenaline it would give me doing it in one lap.....pmsl. k:
