Rolling Road Day! - AmD - Thurrock, Essex

Not sure if my car will be built by this deadline which sucks! I am aiming to come still but not 100% guaranteed anymore.

Bump for this, and also i'm no longer able to make it as ill be away in France on this date.

I called Ben@amd today to make sure this was still all go which it is, one thing he mentioned was to provide a fairly accurate number of cars by the 26th Jan, this is so they know whether to book the guy who runs the BBQ or not.

I assume people don't want to be paying an extra £10 for a burger/sausage or two if 20 cars don't end up coming?

An extra tenner for a couple of sausages is a bit much...

...nip next door for a bowl of meatballs in IKEA if you're hungry..lol

Hope we can get the numbers up though.

This is the first meet I've ever organised mate, they'll be a lot of faces I don't know and the more the better (esp pumas)

Please remember though everyone that a RR really pushes your car to the limit so please ensure its up to the job best you can.
I can't be held responsible if anything goes POP!

I wouldn't be putting mine on the rollers if I hadn't got it booked in for a service & cambelt beforehand.

My M3 is also now booked in for an oil and filter change & general gander over at a specialist next week just to be on the safe side. k:

(Especially as I've only done about 200 miles in it since September )

Really looking forward to this will be coming along with Leeroyv in our pumas and my two pals with a honda integra type r and a one off rover mgzs with a huge spec list, that's if it makes the drive!!!!
