It so annoying the way AMD operate the 'free' BBQ, basically we have to have / guarantee 20+ attending and if not and give them the go ahead to purchase all the food / get an extra body in, we have to pay the £45 each.

I was thinking people could easily bring their own lunch or grab something from the retail park, I was thinking of bringing some pre-cooked sauasges/burgers and buns along with a gas stove and heating them up from the boot!

Don't want to piss people off by them having to pay £45 on the day so unless anyone has any suggestions I'll tell them to.. as ben puts it 'knock it on the head'.

It is a crap way of doing it isn't it. We could have 50 people signed up and it's still no guarantee.

Only way to do it for AMD would be to insist on a hefty deposit before the day.

Happy to bring our own grub or nip out to get something rather than paying a tenner for a burnt / raw burger in a stale bun though.. Free on the other hand, and it would have been delicious.

Cold air temperatures are good though ;)

If it's snowing then the beemer ain't coming! Although Cherie's TT Quattro will be ok I guess :eek:k:

Even if it does snow kent and essex highways agency are very good for keeping major routes open- m2/m25 etc

That's true.

PS - within last 5 mins its started snowing in North London (Finsbury Park area) and it looks heavy already.

There isn't any snow in Essex :).
It isn't Essex I was thinking about. My little A2 is completely covered right now and the roads are damn icey.

Don't forget to check your cars over before going on the rolling road : I'll have some 5w30 oil with me if you need a top up :eek:k:

I'm excited about this :) actually washed my car today even though it was kinda raining all day.

Mines filthy and hasn't moved for a month (actually it better start  )

See you all tomorrow.
