From memory the bolts go into the chassis from within the engine bay.

What was it in the end?

The only time mine was running rich was when the coolant temp sensor was damaged. It still read ok and present but when the engine had warmed up by the gauge it still was sending a cold signal to the ECU. Replaced it and all was good. Something to check.

that's pretty much what I did.

As it's hard lines under the body, and just flexible each end I only repaired the damaged part. You'll end up having to cater for the 'easy' remove connectors at the engine end as well.

I've a mechanical TIM one with the oil pipe feeding a t piece from the pressure switch. Mounted in the same place as caprix. pop out the air ducting and take a saw to it.
