    What are you driving now?

Those SkyActive Mazda engines are interesting, I think they’re styled well throughout. Not keen on Kias so I’ll say no more but hope you enjoy it 👍 I have a 1998 BMW 528i as my daily driver and the 2001 Puma 1.7 as my “project”. Love the BM to bits, coming up to 3 years of ownership which will...

Cheers Red, good to read your story as you have been a great help since I joined. I've found a lot of great information on here and it certainly feels busier since the upgrade. Though I did like the old school forum layout, this does have some tasty 'mod cons' :D

Fuel pipes - what a nightmare

Oh really! I haven’t seen past the plastic bits. That’s good news, I guess I can just put rubber hose on from that to the tank then?

Fuel pipes - what a nightmare

If I decide to run new fuel pipe the fuel length of the car (needs further thought), any recommendations?

Fuel pipes - what a nightmare

Quick browse on eBay shows me £130 for a fuel tank I didn't think they made anymore. I'll be trying with this at least as it's only showing signs of corrosion on the top. Once it goes back on, I'll be using all new hardware and pipe work that WILL be easy to get off :D as long as I don't leave...

Fuel pipes - what a nightmare

That looks like a different pipe entirely, AFAIK they changed the fuel tanks at some point around 2000. Could this be why your pipes differ?

Fuel pipes - what a nightmare

Hello all, My Puma has been parked for ages and I've come back to it now, battery on, no fuel pump prime. Fuse blown, all else fine. Anyway, dropped the tank FINALLY after every single fixture broke. All of them. All four bolts broke the stupid click and rectangular nut system, all the plastic...

    RIP Inner Sill

What’s that mate? I can’t see Facebook stuff. Had another look at it today and I’m going to need to cut a lot out of the car. My issue is how do I jack it up to work on it without any sill in place  I’ll have to remove the interior carpet, handbrake cables, rear beam and suspension...

    My Project Puma

15mm spacers ordered for the front, see how we get on there. I forgot to change the rear brake flexis so I'll be getting that done and will try to do some measuring for the rear beam spacers and some searching around the forum to see what people are running. I also need to get the rear 40mm...

    My Project Puma

Picture time, I ended up with EBC Green Stuff pads as the Tarox Stradas I wanted were out of stock till mid September. Spacers required! Looking good, I'm happy. Needs a good clean with it being sat since May. The knocking sound at the front left? Well... New one in, took me...
