Spare wheel tray and refurbed original spare

For sale probably the best Puma spare wheel tray you will have seen. Not perfect but has only a little touch up here and there rather than looking like something off the Titanic that's been covered in 10 coats of hammerite. Complete with derusted and refurbed spare with original tyre. £50.00 I cant ...

Not Project Barn find

I could sell it complete minus the trim which I have already been paid for however I wouldn't get anywhere near what I would get by breaking it, Which matters as its cost me 1k in garaging for 4 years plus I had 3k in it.

Could break it for enough to buy another one lol

Hi Sinisa, I know I know but it just seems the best option, but at the same time it seems wrong lol. I probably havent had any other car this long before but at the same time I never had a car I used so little. Its cost me 1k for the garage its sat in for the last 4 years. Not a fortune but along wi...

Breaking Questys 1.7 O2 Puma Thunder

Well eventually the sad day arrived to break the old girl prompted by a fair offer for the rather nice trim. This is being picked up hopefully this weekend so if theres any useful bits left Ill add them later but for now consider it all gone. So before I begin with what and how much, I need to make ...

Not Project Barn find

So somewhat sadly Ive decided to break the old girl. I'm just not finding the time to get her fixed working 7 days a week and even if I did when would I ever use her? Anyways I decided if I could get a reasonable price for the trim it would be the catalyst to break her. That day has now arrived and ...

Break or not break that is the question?

I'm currently pursuing a two path strategy at the moment (strangely as I dont have time for even one path :-) ) Ive put the complete trim including Custom steering wheel Lux mats, handbrake cover, polished gear knob seats parcel shelf, carpet etc etc on ebay. Dont think I'm allowed to put ebay links...

front wheel/s not turning

Cheers, I'll double check. I was worried a big bar would damage the bearing but unless someone's got a better idea? Ill do that. Or at least I will when I get a new socket the biggest one I can find is 30mm what size do I need 32mm ? 34mm?

front wheel/s not turning

Today I find that with both front wheels jacked off the floor the passenger side wheel now moves freely apart from a little surface rub from the rusty disk. I havent yet checked if it locks with the drivers wheel on the floor again. I put it in gear and it stops rotating as I guess I would expect so...

front wheel/s not turning

I would struggle pushing it even if it wasn't seized lol. Ive only been trying to turn the wheels or brake disks not move the car but theres no movement at all on either side, completely solid, not even a little bit of wiggle.

Break or not break that is the question?

After a 4 year lay up Ive been assessing the old girl for getting her back on the road and also considering the previously forbidden thought of breaking her. I have to be practical as I have very limited time and a wrecked back. And actually no real use for a car I cant fill with dogs anymore. Shes ...

front wheel/s not turning

Right so Ive started looking at getting my Puma running after its 4 year lay up. I originally thought that the front brakes were surface seized but that doesnt seem to be the case. Ive only dabbled with the front right wheel but after taking the calliper off to be 100% sure its not that, the front w...

Ha Ha that'll be an all round no to everything. Nope not even run irregularly. Theres things I would like to be doing first like get the front D/S brake pipe job finished, do a little rust removal around brake pipe bracket before fitting the pipe and D/S front hose. Get new front tyres etc etc. Inst...

So actually not a real barn find as I put her there in the first place :-) and perhaps not even a real project as its a complete meander without much direction but here goes. In a galaxy far far away (ok then its my garage no galaxies were involved in the making of this NOT project) lay a sleeping m...

The £650 Puma

Gosh I never did get around to that did I? I always thought anything I would be doing would be very mundane compared to other peoples cars and that so many others were so well written that I didn't have anything new to offer. Butttttt.........? hmm well no ifs and buts I suppose iirc there really is...

Cool we might even coax over Puma Babe and have a mini meet (Currant buns are on me)
God knows if anything will be done on Pumber but I can at least push her out of the garage for a wash and photoshoot with Buttercup.

Well as works been a bit thin on the ground this last week or so I turned my mind to a load of chores, cleaning the homestead, cleaning the dog wagon and fitting a new number plate and rear light and a hundred other little errands that I haven't had time for in like maybe a year. And then it occurre...

Restoration of FRP 477

Mines SORNED indefinately and a nasty old Passat estates the daily hog for now, but thankfully both new sills will be available
when I'm in a position to do some renovations in the future.
