Hello ! You need a specific blackpaunt/ford cd to use the GPS, and a gps antena, i had the same idea some time ago, but i have forget it, unfortunaly it's not very functionnal, a classic 6000cd with a yatour or other sd/mp3/aux adaptator is more useful for the gps, i think the best option is a phone...

Hello ! Now the puma run fine with the new intake, but eat a lot of 5w40 oil .... so i try some 5w50 valvoline ... it's better !! i'm waiting about some parts ... 20mm billet spacers, frp hose intake, and i bought an other 1.7 engine to rebuild, and a other stainless exhaust to try to have a better ...

Ok, so if you do a succesful swapp of an 1.6 ecoboost in a Puma, it's one of the better swapp for this car ! a popular (maybe more than a duratec 2.0) and light engine (all aluminium, more light than an zetec E in cast ), and have a lot of part for upgrade (a lot more than an zetec 1.7 for sure :win...

a good swap idea ... but i think the biggest problem is to find an idea for the wiring and the ecu

Ok ... i think i 've understand :lol: :wink: you can clean idle valve and put just a little quantity of liquid grease check air leak on the intake and i've already see broken intake manifold gasket (the O-ring in the teflon plate look like overcooked) but i use a good silicone gasket like this https...

i haved the same problem (P0420) on my previous 1.6 Puma with 2 lambda sensor and 4/2/1 + FRP cat .... the only thing i do is to put an cellfix (like this http://www.showoffimports.nl/product.php?productid=32871) and the mil light go off on my actual 1.7, i do a better things ... change the dive ECU...

what ecu are you using ? you have one or 2 lambda sensor ?

Hello,

If it just valve seal, it work to change them, need to change cambelt kit on this engines.
But not a too Big problem,

But i'm scary to can't rebuild correctly the engine just because some important part aren't available

Hello, i have a problem with my engine .... this last weekend i do 500 km with the puma on german autobahn .... when i back to home .... have a bad surprise ... oil level was very low, but just before i go, oil level is perfect ... (i use 5w40 Elf oil) i don't see any leak on the engine, no leak on ...
