3 of my wheels are buckled which i only discovered after fitting 4 new Pirellis!

I was curious to see how the valve worked so I took my old one apart. Turns out the one I bought as a replacement was exactly the same as the one I took off (Blue Print). How to : Replace your Heater Control Valve (HCV)

Going to go for a Blue Print part for £28, I've had good experience with their parts in the past. Agree the £11 China ones are probably junk. Trouble with Ford part is it's just so expensive if you're not a business and can have discount! I suspect it won't be any more long lived than a good quality...

So I picked the car up yesterday, driving through the rain, sleet and snow to get it home. What an absolute belter of a car. I used to work for Ford back in 1997-2000 so I drove a few Fiestas, Pumas etc and wanted one at the time. I decided that it was now or never seeing as most of them are rusting...

I am sure it's possible to permanently lower the seat by fiddling with the seat frame. It would probably require welding though. Always wanted one, went to see one today and bought it on the spot. Honest Y-reg car in silvery blue (sorry not sure of the actual paint name). It's had a recent cambelt and some work at the rear suspension too judging by MoT history and receipts. Drives really well, AC works... I couldn't fault it ...
