Welcome to the group, sorry to hear of your damage, wheels and a rear axle shouldn't cost too much, don't go breaking the car for parts, numbers are declining enough as it is and values are going up, albeit slowly.

Now sold, but still have the other set of leather seats but without the door cards for £90.

Standard suspension is quite good on rough roads, we have a lot in the UK in my area. I understand that Ford did the ride height high at the back for something to do with the handling and the aerodynamics.

On mine by there is only one pump, the polarity is reversed for the rear washer, I know because I had all to pieces when I i got my Red Puma and the rear washer wasn't working, it turned out to be a blocked hose.

Could be the filter on the pump, accessible after removing the wheel and the arch liner.

If the washer pump motor runs for both front a rear washers, it could be a blockage. If the rear washer works but the front doesn't it could well be the switch which is part of indicator/wiper switch, I believe there are 2 versions, early analogue and later digital speedometer.

Just like to wish all members a Happy New Year, especially all the members that I have met during the last year. Looking forward to 2025 and hope to get more Puma's at the Old Ford Rally in July.

eBay or Facebook Marketplace for someone breaking a Puma, I would think would be the best option. I'm sure somebody has fitted has fitted telescopic struts, but I've no idea who.
