Hey 👋 what are you doing to yours? Mine has needed not only new arches, but inner & outer sills both sides, some welding at seat belt mount, bottom of A pillar into the floor and a bit on front wings 😬 poor old girl was in a bad way 😧, but is now on the mend 🙂 and soon to be resprayed 🥰

A quick update, So PB were delayed with other works but the project is underway with arches cut out and the discovery we need new inner & outer sills on both sides. Not unexpected if I'm honest and sure they are going to do my little car proud.

With rarity comes value but as my hubby says, it's what the car is worth to me that matters.

This is interesting to read. My COC for 2000 Puma has the NOx reading of 0.033 so it can be registered as compliant.

The Pumas made 2001 and 2002 had the ecus changed slightly by Ford and their Nox readings come in at 0.083 so they aren't compliant. The earlier ones, like mine 2000 plate are the ones with lower Nox, mine is 0.03. The Nox reading had to be under 0.08 if that's any help to anyone.

Hi. I had the same issue with.mine when I first had it and also my FRP. The FRP needed a new power steering load sensor whilst the standard puma had a connection issue with the same sensor. Try that if you're still having problems. One other thing, if your throttle peddle is sticky replace...

Hi. My garage charges about £30 to waxoyl the underneath. He says it is preferable to Schultz because it allows any rust to breathe rather than trapping it under the sealing agent. Lasts approximately 2 years before needing to be redone.

Congrats on the MOT pass :grin: yours is looking very good also. These cars are like babies, time wasters, money grabbers but you just cannot help but love them once you have them. Even my daughter has been hooked and there aren't many hearts harder than hers! :wink:
