1.7 for 1.6 crank pulley swap??

Morning all.
Trying to find a crack free replacement crank pulley is drawing a blank.So i got hold of a 1.6 Zetecse to compare.
Non interference crank fit.Some 10mm bigger diameter. Obviously fitting a keyway is a good idea,with a longer belt.
Cam belt cover may be fouled on the tdc marker but wont know till i dummy build it ....This is on an engine thats stripped getting an LMS stg 3 kit and rebuild.
Anyone approached this one before??

My 1.7 engine has a crank pulley from a 1.6 engine and has done for the past few years no problem,

What mods did you do to get it to fit?

Nothing, it bolted straight on in place of the 1.7 pulley without modifying anything

Just to clarify, we're talking about the 1.6 engine also found in the puma and fiesta zetec s?
