I have my mothers Puma for sale, for spares or repair unfortunately. It IS drivable, but no MOT/Tax.
After having driven quite a few Pumas, I can say the engine in this 1.7 is the best I have ever tried. Maybe they get better with miles or loosen up, who knows, but it feels slightly punchier than any other Puma I have driven.
Arches are bubbling, and the car had the sills replaced at some point in the last few years.
Car is 100% original (in terms of all the parts no modifications etc, not the sills work of course) has a parcel shelf (in the garage not on the car!), and original interior. Some of the pics it looks like lacquer peel on the front wings... its just reflections after having a wash.
Any questions get in touch.
Rather than go to a scrappy, both of us want it to go to an enthusiast who can either put the TLC into it, or use the poor bugger to keep another poor Puma on the road.
I fitted a brand new genuine Ford Power Steering cooling pipe to the front as the old one was leaking. £132 I think it cost, was not so easy to find. EDIT: I realise I should add more details like any documents, and some pics of the service book etc, as well as maybe some underneath shots. I will set about doing this in the next few days.
