I have my mothers Puma for sale, for spares or repair unfortunately. It IS drivable, but no MOT/Tax.
After having driven quite a few Pumas, I can say the engine in this 1.7 is the best I have ever tried. Maybe they get better with miles or loosen up, who knows, but it feels slightly punchier than any other Puma I have driven.
Arches are bubbling, and the car had the sills replaced at some point in the last few years.
Car is 100% original (in terms of all the parts no modifications etc, not the sills work of course) has a parcel shelf (in the garage not on the car!), and original interior. Some of the pics it looks like lacquer peel on the front wings... its just reflections after having a wash.
Any questions get in touch.
Rather than go to a scrappy, both of us want it to go to an enthusiast who can either put the TLC into it, or use the poor bugger to keep another poor Puma on the road.
I fitted a brand new genuine Ford Power Steering cooling pipe to the front as the old one was leaking. £132 I think it cost, was not so easy to find. EDIT: I realise I should add more details like any documents, and some pics of the service book etc, as well as maybe some underneath shots. I will set about doing this in the next few days.

Hi there,
I think it would be good if possible to know when the cam belt was last replaced in your documentation and any current issues that need to be rectified to pass an MOT. Really good to know what is needed. Also what is the underside like for rust? Obviously a current MOT would make it attractive to any purchaser if you are able. Mileage according to MOT also under 50K if that's genuine then that is also attractive and worth mentioning. Good Luck she looks good for her age.

My mum has no clue if these items have been replaced. I have asked her to dig out any paperwork.
Hence the spares or repair.
She is not into doing anything for MOT's etc, she just wants it gone for the space. Mileage definitely genuine, I think my mum was the 2nd owner.
Will take some pics of the underneath.
Hoping someone will want it rather than it being taken to the local scrappy!

OK OK so I am interested but also I'm in Plymouth so have some logistical issues, gonna check some stuff out 1st, and if that works out see if I can work out how to get to you.

Hi there.
If the car is still available I'm very interested.....fancied a green one for a while now.
It would be going to a good home as I collect and restore these cars,so she'll be a wee show car when I'm finished with her.
Could manage to collect next weekend(June 3-4th) with trailer if this is suitable?
I'm not too far away.
Let me know what you think.
