Hey Guys,

I recently did a full brake job and replaced all 4 ABS sensors while I was there. I cranked the car with one of the sensors unplugged and even after install I have not been able to get the Traction and ABS lights to go out. I did make sure all 4 sensors were plugged in and tight. Brake fluid is good. I also tried disconnecting the battery and waiting but the lights persist. The ABS fuse is also good. Does anyone know a way to reset it without a scanner?

Thanks for the help.

Have you drove it up the road?
you need to go over 15mph for it to self test, then the light will go out assuming there are no faults present

I have. I believe it also make the "clunking noise" that is the ABS trying to reset. I'm going to try and check the connections again in the morning.

Alight so I have finally figured out my ABS issues. My car is on coilovers, and the previous owner installed an aftermarket dual tip exhaust. That exhaust sits pretty low, and when I lowered the car.... the exhaust was making contact with the rear ABS lines. I'm going to have to figure out a new route for the left rear ABS sensor.
