Boot struts

Hi everyone

Could someone recommend a good aftermarket boot struts and try source original ones ?
I’ve been looking at aftermarket ones but they don’t have the clip for the wire.
Any suggestions?

I got mine from Parker’s about £26 versus £100 from Ford Only problem was they only did one type so not the one with electrical contact for remote opening of boot. Luckily I just change the left and it did the trick

Just to clarify, the R/H boot strut with electrical continuity is only necessary for cars with the 3rd. Brake light, the remote boot opening is not part of the boot lid, but part of the lock fitted to the body.
I have used a single MK4 Fiesta boot strut on both my Puma's, the later car with the high level brake light has it fitted on the left, on both cars the boot fully opens from the remote.
With 2 Fiesta struts fitted is was more difficult to close, so one is sufficient.

Replaced mine with some Nitro lift ones from SGS Engineering, good quality,
boot fly's up now, just watch it doesn't smack you on the chin

People are amazed when the boot fly's up.
I've fitted a boot release switch on the dashboard

I think I have used SGS for ottoman bes struts! They were very good and helpful.
