Cam belt change 1.7 Thunder

Does anyone have a trusted engine tuner garage near Retford that can change Cam belt as I am told special tools need to be able to do and retune as different to 1.6

Can't comment about garages but they're referring to the cam locking tool and timing process.

Cam locking tool is a ‘nice to have’ bit of equipment.
However, it’s not ‘essential’ and as long as you have marked up the positions / number of teeth and so on and - take your time - it’s a really good job to do yourself.
I’m a big advocate of doing it yourself because 99% of garages, even the best, will treat your car as just another job. Covers won’t get cleaned, bolts checked and polished, surrounding areas cleaned and tidied and so on.
