I hope they check the owner details thoroughly enough.
They still send tax refunds by post!!
Just had to apply for a replacement cheque as the last one I got was 6 months old so out of date.
Pay by bank or credit card, but they don't have the ability to pay your refund back as easily. Guy I spoke to said it was stupid but that's no consolation to me. I guess they value the extra interest they get for holding onto the cash as long as they possibly can.
I've sorned my car - oh, here's a refund cheque for you - great, so now I'll have to walk or take public transport to put it into my bank unless I have another car or someone to take me there - fcuking pathetic :lol:
Winds me up no end does this unfair tax. My fault for buying a high tax car & not using the damn thing :lol:
