As I am unable to find anything clickable to enable me to edit a post that was posted before the site upgrade, I assume this is not possible?
I have some missing images/broken links that I would like to fix..

@TechAdmin is this something that could be looked at at all?

In the meantime if you find something you need updating, then I should be able to.

It looks like if the image links were using the image or fullimage tags then it's possible that these could all get fixed. I've just tried it in another thread for one that wasn't showing up and it worked.

Majority of my images are [GALLERY=media, links but there are some others that I started to host myself so I would need to fix those to reflect a new domain name.

I will work on the editing issue.

Can someone point me to some examples, links to threads, where images or links do not work.

This post is the one I've put the working example under an example of all the broken ones.

Post in thread 'Jack mounting' Jack mounting.

The original bbcodes were:

Code:
[fullimage] and [image]

The new gallery bbcode is the working replacement
Code:
[fullimage]6442[/fullimage]

[GALLERY=media, 6442][/GALLERY]

Here's the one I mentioned. HOW TO:- Rear Wheel Bearing Change

Also noticed youtube links in threads are now unclickable as they are showing inside the [youtube][/youtube] codes instead of being interactable.
I'm going to hazard a guess other similar type of links to other sites may be broken too.
Not a problem I guess as URL's can still be copy/pasted.

OK - Mat beat me to it, just, as I waffled too much 🤣

There's a few I've seen with an "X" through the icon or some with nothing at all, just a box...like this one. I checked if the pictures were on the site still & they are. If we could edit all our previous posts like before then they could be updated as & when we notice them. If that's even possible. It just makes the threads seem more complete and/or in context in some cases (y)

The editing time feature on this software is stuck to a certain variable but can be changed on a per forum basis. Is there a forum with build threads that need updating?

Is it possible to completely remove the edit time limit from these forums?
I went to edit a post from Friday last week and now I can't.

If we create a parts/to-do list we would go back and edit it to update it rather than constantly posting the same (edited) list each time.
