I thought I’d mention this in case anyone else has a similar problem in the future.
My passenger window stopped working a couple of days ago and, after having to replace the regulator when I first bought it, thought I might have to find another replacement.
I checked with a multi-meter and, as there seemed to be power getting to the switch, I took off the door panel & removed the regulator (very easy to do but had to drill out a couple of rivets).
Thankfully the regulator wires looked fine and it all worked when I connected it to the battery.
A bit stumped I thought it must be the switch.
Before ordering one though, I had the idea to see if I could swap it with the driver’s side switch to see if it was the problem.
I’m glad I did because I noticed that the connector to the driver’s side switch had become loose and, once it was connected back in, everything worked again.
I’m glad it ended up as a simple fix as, looking on Ebay, window regulators are getting quite expensive now.
