+1 for me too, Richard. If it helps I will be at Ford Fair 8th Aug so to save on P&P I could pick up then. Only if production run dates fit in with that, of course.

Hi.
I went to visit a fiberglass company who have for many years specialised in automotive products. They can make a new mold for me. The cost of a splitter will work out to be £129 plus what ever the delivery costs. To deliver to mainland UK works out to be about £22.

Is there still intrest at that price.

I'm interested at this price Richard. Thanks.

Alex

Hi,
Yes I can send them anywhere, I have in the past but I must point out deliver charges from the carriage companies have gone up drastically over the last few years. I don't know if it is because the UK has left the EU. If you would like an accurate cost please pm me a post code and I will get a price for you.

Regards,
Richard.

The brackets for holding it up in the middle, where can I get a couple of them? I got a splitter from someone on facebook last year. I have removed the valance and am just weighing up attaching it, but I dont have any brackets.

Hi.
If you are referring to Puma fitment and assuming it is one of mine I stopped fitting middle brackets after the first six or so as I increased the stiffness of the splitter so it did not need any additional support apart from the four bolts each side.

Regards,
Richard.

Hi.
I have found another manufacturer who I will be seeing next week. I am trying to get the price down. The splitter will go into production. I can give you
definitive information next week.

Regards,
Richard.

Hi.
I have been to another two potential manufacturers. Unfortunately they can come no where near the first price I have put out. I will be going ahead and the first splitters should be available in early November. I know this is quite away away but they are very busy and I know from personal experience that jobs tend to fall back in that industry.
Regards,
Richard
PS I will keep updating on this topic thread.

So, how is this working for you Richard?

Have you placed a number of 'provisional' orders ready for November, or is November when they will take orders?

I'm interested and think November would certainly be a better time for me financially..

Hi.
I will have the first batch made then when I have them ready to send out I will look to take the orders. I have to place a minimum run of three at a time, so with paying for the tooling and the first batch I can cover it.
Regards,
Richard.

Hi.
Good news after two and a bit years the original splitter mold has been found and I picked it up today so that's one hurdle less. I will start planning how I will now go about production. I will post updates here.

Regards,
Richard.
