I see that a 29,500 mile 2002 Thunder sold for £4,500 at the recent auction. One family owner, lot number 44.
Interesting, thanks for the update. I wonder what sort of condition it was in
Chris Allison had early Puma, with 8,000 miles on the clock, last time I was there, apparently it had sold for a good price at auction, but needed a lot of work.

Hmmmm. I suggested a value of £2750 for insurance purposes for my 11500 mile (now 15000 mile - I’ve been enjoying it!) 2000 ‘W’ 1.7 Puma. It’s not a Thunder but was one owner with full history that tallies up with the MOT history. No rust and immaculate.
Should I reconsider?

I think you should reconsider.

I have finally been able to copy and paste the URL for Puma:

It has been off the road for some time.

Definitely reconsider. I was advised by a mechanic friend that I undervalued mine so searched classic car sales websites to find similar cars to get true value. I had to send photos to Heritage Insurance (now Norton Isurance brokers) before they confirmed a guaranteed pay out value but well worth investigating as your unlikely to find another as good ?

Who are you insured with please?
Originally direct with Heritage insurance The renewals now come through Norton Insurance Brokers. I had to send photos and info on a similar car that was for sale on a classic car web site before they agreed guaranteed value pay out. In my case it’s only on road 6 months of the year and they do put odd restrictions on where you keep overnight, mileage etc which was easy for me and so was reasonably cheap
