Hi Guys
Am try to dis-arm / remove anything to do with the central locking on my 1999 Puma which is now only being run as a hillclimb car . Doors being stripped down to the bare bones .

I thought I'd achieved this by pulling the fuse but although the central locking via the door lock is now
removed , it still works from the key fob ???? .... hope this wont upset the ECU .

Any ideas where I need to go next , another fuse ? ... relay ?

Any suggestions greatfully received , thanks in advance
Kind regards
Greg

Hi might have worked out the above , is the fob locking controlled by the GEM ? , is it possible to dis-arm this without causing any engine management issues ? ... thanks in advance .

Yes, locking/unlocking is via the GEM module.

You could try unplugging it and see what happens....
