Rear disc shopping list, @Wild E. Coyote if you can comment please.

I have:-
ST150 rear stubs, calipers, carriers, backplates (may skip those), handbrake cable, discs, pads, Escort Estate ABS loom inc sensors, got some new Puma ABS rings on the way.

I know the ST150 ones will mean messing around with handbrake cable/beam, but doesnt seem too much work.

Anything I have missed?

TBH, I used focus Mk1 rear disc setup with 257 mm rear solid discs. I guess that might be the same?I do remember I had to enlarge opening on splash shields to accomodate for ABS sensors. And I would KEEP the splash shields...
But it looks about right!

I hope you have cleaned the hubs before slapping on new discs. If not, they will 100% develop vibrations. The hubs need to be clean of all rust. In ideal world you should use Wheel hub cleaning set 1 or something similar. In real word some wire brush, sand paper and lots of effort are needed.
With that ATE tool, you are done in 10-ish seconds...

Totally back to new shiny metal on the hub faces, used a Milwaukee rotary disc with correct attachment like you listed. :)

Is there any machining or modifying involved with making these parts fit or is it all a straight forward fit?

There is an ST150 disc to do with pictures on this site. I used new Puma abs sensors but the Focus mk1 are easier to use I read. The stub axles have to be machined pocketed and tapped to suit the Puma Abs sensors. The Puma Abs rings are needed to fit on the St150 hubs which have to be machined to accept them. I had a bit of a fiddle to get the Abs ring close enough to the sensor on the right rear wheel 1mm clearance (I think). Look for the to do.

So not many changes since last summer, have just collecting parts and been tidying up bits and bobs.

Managed to find missing screw covers for door card, FRP carpet covers for the FRP seat bolts,

Also fitted a Kenwood underseat subwoofer, which just about clears the FRP seats.

Tidied up the B pillar badges:-

Bits ready to be fitted:-

Full ST150 rear disc setup
Painted inlet with larger TB
TAPE ECU
Digital dash clocks (waiting for the mileage to align)

Have also moved house, so that has took a lot of my time last 6 months. The new house has a powered garage, I have installed roof insulation, new LED lighting, new power sockets, CTEK trickle charger. I plan to use vinyl tiles on the floor and insulate the door.

Still find time to enjoy the drive!

Done a few bits and bobs, including changing many exterior lights for LED and removing the LED from the projector dipped lights for a new set of Osram Nightbreakers. They work so well with the projectors.

I also sent off my rear brakes from a ST150 for a paint job, and they look very nice and ready to fit.

Also acquired a new tailgate this week, mine had a jagged mask line near the window and a little bubble of rust near the latch, so found a mint silver one. This will be resprayed, it is a later model so has the 3rd brake light on the boot. So once the MS Design spoiler goes on I will remove its LED brake bar. It always looked a bit of an afterthought, so having the Ford later 3rd light will tidy it up.
