I just logged on and the site looks totally different.

As a registered member you can disable the ads in your profile.

It kept saying "Oops! We ran into some problems." when I try to navigate around so I thought it was broke or had been hacked so didn't risk logging in .

I eventually took the gamble & logged in & all is weird - this will take some getting used to but I'll cope

Although, emotes are different too - now that will take a major adjustment

Weird when adding emote - it's then difficult to start a new sentence as the cursor is before the emote, not after. Having to add emotes after I finish writing.

Nope, laptop.

Just had a play around. If I click smilies icon to pick an emote, after picking the emote the box stays open so if I click this reply field to close the box the cursor is in front of the emote which is a pain, but if I click the "X" on the box search field the cursor goes to the correct side of the emote - still a pain tbh.
If I click an emote, then click the smilie icon again to close the box the cursor doesn't reappear so I then have to click reply field again & the cursor is once again in front

So - I'll have to get used to clicking the "X" on the popup to continue.

Wow - 3rd world problems - i.e. ignore me grumbling about nothing

I think some things are going to take a little getting used to, but all in all I think the forum looks great.
It looks clean and fresh.

Mat/Dal - I know one of you is online currently at least. Had a PM from someone called TechAdmin regarding the site. They are marked as Administrator.

Can either of you confirm they are legit - just checking as it's just unusual as I know the admin people so thinking this is a new thing that came along with the new forum.

Yeah, I got an email when I checked this morning - I just changed the preferences to not update me as I check pretty regularly anyway.
I went through the pref's yesterday with the site being updated but must have missed a few.
