Odd steering wheel jerking/snatching.

Hi.
A recent phenomenon that someone may have experienced and shed some light on it for me.
When driving at reasonable revs (around 3000) if I press the accelerator hard the steering wheel jerks and snatches to the right. It is more pronounced the more revs I do and the faster and harder I press the accelerator.

Not something I've heard of, my Red Puma was over revving when cornering. I used some contact cleaner on the connector to the power steering sensor and that seems to have cured it.
Are you getting any error codes ?

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I have had trouble before wit the problem you had with the revs...same remedie.
I have not checked fault codes l will do though. It feels to be a bit more mechanical.

Sounds like you are describing torque steer to me. Maybe a little less right foot!?

Hi.
That's what I thought. The thing is the engine is about 155bhp. It has just developed, for 3 years at least it has not been a problem.
