It's fairly easy and straightforward.

Photo is of the adapter without the recess for storage, I thought the gap needed something so put in a digital volt meter.
Nice! I like a 7 segment display! Good idea to put in the voltmeter, handy. So what did you use to block off the panel then. Is it one of those trays but with a cover, or just a blanking plate you got from somewhere?

I'm using the same adapter as above but painted mine to match the rest of the dash.

Very nice. Incubus on the stereo as well, takes me back! I found the adapter after John mentioned it and I think you can get black and silver versions. But you've done a good job on it from what I can see. What's the red button above, nitrous? 😜

The red button is for the spa design oil pressure/temperature gauge. The nitrous setup is run on a micro switch on the accelerator pedal so it only fires on full throttle. I have toggle switches for the bottle heater and to be power the main system, then a controller hidden in the glove box.

Omg! I was joking, but you only went and did it!! 🤩
That's nuts! Please tell me you have some video on YouTube or something? Have you had it dyno'd? I'd love to know what you get out of it, you know, for science.

Welcome to the site Jenn, sorry I'm a late in replying. I've been reading this thread but forgot to say Hi 😳

Had nitrous on my Puma too, when I had a Puma 😓. It was far too addictive for me & I spent far too much on refills🤪
Mine was a stealthy-er instal so you couldn't see anything when you looked under the bonnet, buttons next to the steering wheel (one was to manually switch on radiator fan for extra spirited driving lol), controller in the glove box like capri has & an extra pressure gage inside the car down low in the passenger footwell.

Try not to go down that rabbit hole 🤣

Hi 👋 I love it here already! I dig the variety of ownership styles all in the same space and everyone sharing their experiences 😊

To be honest I don't have any intention of nitrous going in my Puma. I don't think I could resist the temptation very often if i had it either! I'm just really interested in how it preformed and the process in general. I think it's very cool. I think modifying stuff and customising in general is very cool, even if just for the love of tinkering.

I haven't had it on a Dyno nor do I have any videos. The setup is jetted for a 50bhp increase, my millennium also has a stainless frp exhaust system including 4 branch manifold, larger throttle body with a ported intake to match and fiesta st150 front brakes and rear disc conversion to help it slow down.

Safety first 😉
That's very cool though. So much scope for upgrades with these and for someone still learning about all this stuff like myself I love all the historic evidence of projects people have already done. Standing on the shoulders of giants, if you will.

There's a stainless exhaust (Piper complete cat-back) and st150 front brakes already on mine. Still got drums at the back. It really can stop when it has a mind to but I feel like the brakes and tyres are probably where I would look first if I was thinking of performance upgrades. Though for right now I'm just learning. No real plans for anything yet. And it honestly doesn't really 'need' anything.
