Attended Motorfest 2024 in Chelmsford at the weekend. The one and only Puma

Since I owned the car the underside of the bonnet had some scorching to the paint. I’ve since found out this was an engine bay fire caused by leaking power steering fluid.

It was time to sort it with some left over paint I had. Prepped and sanded, primer and paint. Happy with the result and finally it’s no longer crispy.

Next up is the Aux belt and squeaky tensioner. I need to source one and then get them fitted. Awkward as this has had the AC removed. Obsolete at Ford now too

Went to a barn dance there, many many moons ago!
Used to live quite near there.

Quick update here.

Replaced a few random parts which were not in good enough condition.

- Passenger rear light cluster
- tailgate rubber
- PAS reservoir rubbers
- few engine bay clips.

Attended our local charity car show. Was a good day! And found a friend

It would be easier to just use regular pink oat that's available from just about everywhere ranging from motorfactors, petrol stations and supermarkets.
