Rad fan switch

Hi all
I want to add a dash switch for my rad fan. I race my Puma and want to have the option of running the fan whilst sitting in the staging area etc. Can anyone advise me the best way to do it please? I have some decent two pole switches etc so just need the easiest way possible.

Ack - I did this to my Puma for when I went to the Nurburgring. Unfortunately an old friend did the wiring & switch for me. Wish I'd paid more attention now.

All I remember is him splicing into the current wiring/connectors at the back of the fan itself, plus a relay & a switch of course. I also remember him reconnecting the original fan wire connectors the wrong way round so the fan span wrong & actually warmed my engine up more. Luckily I realised it fairly soon & switched them the right way. :hide:

I checked my old pictures but all I have is the switch ;p
