Site upgrade and relocation - Potential service disruption

Evening everyone,

A friendly heads-up, I'm going to be working on the website over the coming days, I can't really be to specific in advance (since I have many other commitments) but I will have to take the site offline for a period of time. I intend to post here shortly beforehand so that people are aware and will enable a message to inform everyone.

This is a two-fold piece of work to move the website to a new hosting provider and at the same time upgrade the site software to the latest release.

Once complete I'll set up a new thread so that any issues which arise from the upgrade can be handled in one place.

Ok, so clearly this hasn't happened yet and it's been dragging on, I've had two providers running for the last two months with nothing but good intentions. I've put it off because I know problems come out the back of upgrading the board software (images stop working is the main one).

I'm going to have to just bite the bullet in the next couple of days, so I'm putting this message out to let you know the board will go offline until I'm happy that it's moved and working, I'll then have to resolve any issues as they come.
