Within the next week or so the site will go offline for an upgrade. The software which the board is based on has had a code re-write and to ensure our forum stays supported and receives updates etc we need to move with the times.
This will bring a number of visual differences, you may or may not be aware that the forum has it's own theme with a number of custom modifications. None of these are portable to the new version and hence we have worked to bring the new version inline with the current style along with replacing any modifications which we have considered as core functionalities for example the gallery and the feature rich quick reply window at the bottom of each thread. One feature which hasn't made the cut is the chat as I'm quite sure no one actually uses this any more.
The upgrade has been tried in a test bed environment where I have been trying to make sure old images, videos, links etc work as expected, which appears to be the case.
The old gallery is one area that I will be looking to bring at a future point, this runs on an even older version of software which is proving very tricky to migrate.
Hopefully the new version will improve the user experience since everything will be optimised and updated.

The quick links menu contains all of the features you would be familiar with here such as 'View new posts'
Since this image, the sponsors and gallery links have also been added.
