Grimm..
Had a barbie in the garden a couple days ago and one of the packs of chicken drums was (although well in date) rank!
As soon as I opened the packet that smell of decay came forth - not nice missus!
Long story short, somehow they managed to end up in the bag in the corner of the garden and the smell was unreal.
Well, needed to be rid so I built a huge fire pit and in they went.
The smell that came off the fire reminded me of some not so nice memories from years ago.
Burning and charring rotten animal flesh - once smelt, never forgotten.

Just thought I’d share!!!
Beer anyone?

As a person who often goes off topic myself - stop being a party pooper Richard 🤪
It's the correct part of the forum for chit chat, rants, observations or any other musings that one might feel the need to get out there 👍

Musings - had to check that was even a word as I rarely use it - wow, I had a musing about musings 🤣

That smell is putrid, no one needs that, especially not at a BBQ with people already weird about chicken on the bone.
