Found this, was recently added to youtube. Jeremy Clarkson reviews the 1.7 :) I probably saw it back in the day but haven't since, until now. Anyway, here it is, enjoy...

Thanks for posting this, It is different footage to the usual stuff on you tube about the Puma. The Following stuff showing Classic Racing Cars from the Past 100 years, driving around a closed off Basildon is worth a look too :grin:
 
Its one of the reasons i own one now, i remember the show and the followup they did with Tiff on track - plus the advert too!
 
I'll be kinda sad when mine goes at the end of the month, you will struggle to have as much fun for less than 1k. Just keep them rust proofed guys, cos when they are gone, you'll have something that will eventually be regarded as a classic car and a bit of a hidden gem.

Lol.... I watched that vid last night (great link), then got watching a few more old Top Gears (mainly mid 90s), and before I knew it I was still there watching them after 4 hours !!

...very addictive. The Puma episodes are good. Also enjoyed the saloon challenge, and Clarkson's review of the 1990 New Escort when it came out (slated; deservedly!).

Great find! I remember seeing this when it was on! I wanted one back then but funds demanded that I drove a shattered old Rover instead. :-(
