Does a register exist for Millies?

I realise that the numbered plaques don't have any correlation to chassis numbers, so any list would need to be by chassis number I guess.

Howmanyleft shows 558 registered and 90 Sorned at present, so there are still a lot of them out there!

Is this anything that has ever been considered?

Even more difficult to correlate then numbers than with FRPs, they're not all numbered and there's no original build data being the two major reasons why.

No harm starting a list - that's how the FRP data got going and that's quite exhaustive by now.

Great idea, I presume the chassis numbers will relate to the order the cars were produced, ie, the lower the number the earlier it was produced.

Not necessarily.

WF0CXXGAECYR89662 was built on 7th Feb 2000
WF0CXXGAECYR04392 was built on the 14th.

They're FRPs but same principle.

Also the 'YR' bit relates to Feb 2000 - each month/year has its own two letter code and the numbers which follow are peculiar to that month.

You could do it - be an interesting exercise - all you really need is a list of reg plates and you can start to get chassis info, owner details etc. Although a word of warning - I've been working on the FRP list which is approx. 500 cars, got nearly 2000 keeper changes to record, tax disc entries for each car so you can see whether they're on the road, plate changes etc., started late 2011 and its still ongoing. And there are more Millies and fewer people talking about them

The last 5 digits of the chassis number get taken from the engine number and they don't fit the engines in order

Would be an interesting exercise, I would like to find out if mine is an early or late model as I have very little paperwork to go on.

Only trouble with ETIS is it seems a bit unreliable - it only works with 1 of my cars! I haven't yet tried it with the chassis no.

ETIS only knows about the first reg plate. Should always work with VIN.

Won't give you the build number though.

Good idea we just need someone to administrate this perhaps a more general register for all Pumas with sections for specials like the Milleniums, Racings, Thunders and the Blacks may be interesting.
