Just happened across this blog by a chap that's exported a Black to the US for a year long trip.

Read it from start to finish and it's been a good read and pretty cool to see a Puma at various American landmarks.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was interested!

He had a thread on PumaPeople, prior to departing:

They never had the Puma, that's the point of the blog. Or didn't you read it?

Ive been following this blog since the start. Immensely jealous as I lived in the States when I was a student and taking my puma there is something ive dreamed of doing myself!

The US have strict rules about importing (cars must be over 25 years old) but it's okay to drive around temporarily for up to a year, so that's what he is doing... Think he plans to get it to San Francisco eventually, lucky bugger.

Maybe when we retire to Florida I'll ship my puma out with me, it will be 40+ by then and well within the import regs!
