Hi guys. I’ve been to look at a Puma today 12 months mot and I liked the drive. Both arches are rusted though so I need help knowing if I should be walking away and not bothering? Thoughts please

If/when the arches perforate that will be an MoT fail (sharp edges on bodywork) so they will need doing sooner or later. I had one side of mine done (only one side rotted for some reason) among other work. I think maybe the arch on its own would have been in the order of £300, the hard bit is getting the paintwork to match after the repair has been done.

If the rest of the car is ok and low mileage and a good price then yes, but there are plenty of others out there in a similar state so it's a buyer's market I'd say.
