I've been having a lot of trouble diagnosing the reason why my airbag light doesn't come on when I start the car. I finally managed to connect it to a OBD2 diag. machine and these are the codes it found:

B1932: Air Bag Driver Circuit Open

B1877: Seat Belt Driver Pretensioner Circuit Open

B1318: Battery Voltage Low

I reckon if I change both the driver's airbag and pretensioner the faults will go away. These sort of codes should have the airbag light flashing but it is completely dead. I've took the instrument panel apart and saw nothing wrong with the led...it just wont turn on. Even when I run the onboard diag the engine and airbag lights won't come on.

Anyone got a suggestion how I may track down the problem?

If you look for the thread of one of our former members, he had a loose connection of a wire inside connector. It was driving him nuts for years, as it was intermittent fault reappearing now and then. I would suspect you have a problem along those lines. Some connection somewhere is not right would be my first call here
