as said in the subject bar it takes ages to start a friend said it could be the solinoid but WHERES THAT!!!! any ideas anyone???

Its the starter motor switch mechanism hun. Like a relay switch that closes a current when you turn the key. Give it a clean with WD40 and make sure the connections are dry/free of dirt. Check the starter motor.
