....... I got another Roadster

P1010.jpg

1997 R2-Ltd Roadster (one of only 500 made for Japanese market)

its only got 59,000 miles, and comes with ultra rare TRA Drag 4 alloys. It also came with a hardtop but I sold it for £350 within an hour of buying the car. Its also got a brand new mohair hood with glass rear screen which is a bonus.

When I can afford, it'll get slammed suspension, and a stainless exhaust. Ive already changed the chavvy clear lights back to original.

Id have loved a Puma, but Summers coming, and this will offer top down driving (if we get any good weather)

Looks clean enough mate :eek:k:

Shame you couldn't find the right Puma!!

Enjoy the MX :)

Looks like a lovely example!

I may be daft, but is it the 1.6 or the 1.8? Nippy?

Me and my mate test drove a '94 example the other day - with the hood down with the wind blowing a gale! Great fun!

Excellent choice of car, shame it isn't a puma though :(

its a 1.8 - its already got an induction kit fitted, and a splitter is a possiblility at some point

I love the look of the MX-5 - love the wheels on yours

I'm currently Puma-less due to having a company car, and the missus (who I originally passed my Puma on to) since we've had kids needed something with 4-doors for trips to nursery/stops etc. (plus I didn't think the Puma was well suited to that, esp. with all the short runs that her Polo gets)

If my work situation changes and I took a local office based job, a Puma would certainly be high up on my list. Then again, I've always fancied an MX-5!

I'm not surprised you went back to an MX5, I'm the same when it comes to cars, it takes a lot for me to change what model I drive (hence the 5 or the 7 cars I've has have been Escorts!)

As long as you have fun and enjoy the car, that's all that matters.

As Vix says, stick around, we don't mind. ;)

cheers Cherie!

Ive liked it here since I got looking for a Puma so i'll call in still

I was determined not to get another Roadster for a year or so, but I couldnt find a Puma that ticked all the boxes, and although I found a decent FTO, I couldnt get a decent insurance quote.....

...... and then the sun came out and I had no chance

Looks like you got a peach to be honest....
