Hi i'm normally of ZSOC.COm i know Dal visits there and through his link i've come over here just to say hello and see some nice puma's..

currently driving an imperial blue zs lovely car but i do like my puma's especially in silver..

I may even be tempted to buy one..

Nic..

Welcome! I was on the verge of getting an imperial blue zetec-s, and signed up on zsoc to find out more about them. Went for a silver Puma 1.6 in the end though :)

Hi and welcome to the site :D

Feel free to poke around as much as you like and join in when you want!

Yeah the Puma is one fine car :D

Get a pic up of your ZS mate, Just started thread on zsoc regarding induction kits. zsoc is gonna be useful for me i reckon with my puma having the zetec se engine like in zs's.

Welcome along Nic, you might spot my yellow beast around on ZSOC too. :eek:k:

Welcome Nic!

Not a bad place we have over here - lots of very knowledgeable people if you need a helping had from anything from oil to modified trackday cars.
Theres also a chat room for whiling away the hours and even a "Therapy" section to mull over the worlds problems...

Have fun!

Hi thanks for the warm welcome..

I do like the pum especially in silver with multispokes.

The only thing i don't like abour the puma is the rear end it kind of goes up with a fairly large void between the road and the bottom of the bumper perhaps some rear spats would sort that out.

this is my car

i did own an ash black mk6 escort before that pushing 130bhp but old age got the better of her.. she did have puma alloys on in fact..

So tell me my zs is a nice drive i know the puma is exactly the same chassis but i'd probably want a 1.7 am i going to have as much fun as say i do in my zs?

That car is quite expensive for the age; although if all else is in good condition may not be bad....

... I paid £3200 for my 1999 back late 2006 to give you some indiciation! And that is in good condition and had only 29k at the time.

And to your question. Yes I do think you would have more fun ;)

Test drive one first though see what you think for sure!

Where abouts are you?

(Shameless excuse to put yet another picture of him up :p )

Hi and welcome :)

I'm on ZSOC as well, I've only recently joined.

Go test a Puma 1.7, I'm sure you'll be impressed!

I was chuckling today having registered on this site and on the prowl for anice looking puma when driving home from work it suddently occured to me how many puma's were on the road.

Now this could be coniscidence or it could be my heightened awareness towards a car i'm intersted in..

BUT today i saw a red puma a nice metalic green puma, a black puma and this ghaslty bright yellow puma.. and then as i came round a corner a silver puma those headlights look so smart on a silver puma so i think i'm on the look for a Silver 1.7 puma.

But i'd really like a solution to that back end it still feels a higher profile to the front if you get my drift.. any suggestions?

And dal loving your puma is it lowered? or just bigger rims?

Dals is lowered and has bigger rims. You can add a spoiler to the boot to add some variety if thats what your looking at.

Silver Puma's do look great, especially I think as the dark lights contrast well with the silver paint :) Mine is the 1.6 (due to insurance issues with 1.7) but still flies, identical to your zs being same engine.

Don't let Cherie hear you say that! She loves her yellow millie! You were lucky to se one as only 1000 were made, and 2 live round here..lol

Yeah, lowered and 17" alloys. See here for reference:

More lowered on the back than the front so it seems. Looks much better IMO.

I will beat everyone into submission. You WILL love the yellow! :fists:

lol
