Hello,
I am wanting to change the steering wheel in my 1.6 Puma, I've already removed the standard steering wheel. But air bag light came on, so refitted standard steering wheel with air bag & the air bag light is now continually flashing.
Is there any other way of disabling the air bag light?
Any help would be greatfully appreciated!!!

No, some people previously fiddled with the clusters to stop it coming on (disconnected it or painted over it), but as far as I know, it needs to come on and extinguish to pass the MOT if it exists because it is also related to the seatbelt pretensioners. Might be wrong on this but thought that's what I'd read.

There is a module you can get to fit to the airbag connector to make it think it's still there, so that it still operates correctly.

I would probably solve why after refitting you still have an issue though. The flashes should indicate a fault code to help you locate.
