There have been many discussions about the pros/cons of using different specifications of oils.

I would personally recommend using the oil specified by Ford for the Puma! These specifications are:

1. Ford/Motorcraft Formula E SAE 5W-30 engine oil
2. Other manufacturers SAE 5W-30 engine oil meeting the WSS-M2C913-A or WSS-M2C912-A1
3. SAE 5W-30, SAE 10W-40 or SAE 5W-40 all meeting the requirements of ACEA A1/B1 or ACEA A3/B3

*This list is in priority order and I would only recommend 1 & 2 as other oils in 3 may result in longer cranking periods, reduced engine performance, reduced fuel economy, and increased emission levels.

These specifications are directly from the Owners hand book and may have been updated.

Remember that the Ford stuff is usually cheaper than after market brands too.

In english that's semi-synthetic 5W-30 oil right? But you can use fully synthetic too?

Semi-Synth 5W-30 is the correct specification.

Checking that it conforms to the above specifications is always a plus though as some might not :)

It's very important to get the Ford Formula E as far as I can remember, as it has some special additives or something.

Being from Yorkshire I would also take note that it is cheaper as well
