After several months spending lockdown in the garage, our Puma windows will happily lower on the button but will not rise without extensive manual help.

Can this be resolved with an application of WD40 and where should this be squirted ? Ideally I do not want to remove door cards if possible.

No, the battery was fully charged. Now managed to free them using lots of WD40 down the guides and inching the windows up and down a few inches each time.

I've found WD40 or its equivalents soon evaporate. I always use silicone spray on window runners or in severe cases silicone grease, which seems to last.
About to get one of my cars out of winter storage this week, so may need to redo the window runners.
