I'm checking interest for a Titanium lugs group buy here.
Please see my post on the Cougar forum.

I believe Cougar and Puma share the same lugs. For confirmation, this is the spec I'm having them built to: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=9840872&cc=1374319&jsn=1294
It looks like the current exchange rate would put the lugs at about £188 or €204 plus shipping. I would need to double check that before payment.

I'm not going to let this drag out so if there's not enough interest in one week, I'll drop it.

My primary interest is in the added strength and corrosion resistance. Ive lost a wheel before and if I can lessen the likelihood of doing it again, I'm for it.

If I were to do any significant power-adders I would appreciate the added insurance, especially given our 4 small lugs design. I would think boosted people would be interested.

The weight loss is probably unimportant unless hundredths of seconds matter to you (maybe tenths), but to put it in perspective:

Let's say we cut 2 1/4 kg by switching lugs...

Since that's both unsprung and rotating mass, the industry advertises an 8x multipler for an equivalent of 18 kg of weight loss.

That seems awfully ambitious so lets cut it in half and say its a 9 kg equivalent weight loss.

At £188 were talking about £21/kg.

With Carbon Fiber hoods going for a LOT more than that, the titanium lugs offer a significantly better cost/kg ratio than CF body parts do, with probably a similar overall impact.
